Here is what our readers had to say about the book after reading it, and their deep insights have left us extremely happy:
The author has outdone herself by poignantly illustrating the paradox of success versus fulfillment. Alicia's journey reveals how external achievements can mask internal emptiness. This narrative compels us to confront our own lives, questioning what truly defines bliss and belonging. It is a must-read.
This book struck a chord with me. Alicia's struggles mirrored my own feelings of isolation despite outward success. Her journey of self-discovery reminded me that facing our past is vital for healing. I loved it because it felt like a reflection of my own life!
Wow. This book is like a rollercoaster of emotions! Alicia's life looks fab on the outside—big house, cool job—but inside? Total chaos! Her memories hit hard, like a punch to the gut. I felt every tear and laugh; it's so real...
This book gives a great perspective on having what most would call everything (an awesome career, a nice home, money, etc), but dealing with past trauma issues such as rejection and disenfranchisement which can lead into one's personal and love life. The main character Alicia is trying to figure out how to maneuver through these issues as she helps others through there's. An excellent read!
This book is real because we all have trauma. It’s raw because it’s graphic and detailed. It’s relatable because majority of us walk around polished in the outside while battling demons that are killing us on the inside. We often develop bad habits to help us mask these demons but in reality we’re only muting them temporarily. Once I started reading it I couldn’t put it down!!
